Ric has been working in the film industry for over 15 years and in that time he has fallen in love with documentaries and their power to connect people, challenge perspectives, spark meaningful conversations and change. He founded Anima Entertainment to create a space to tell human, cinematic and socially impactful stories while also collaborating with other companies and partners to bring ambitious projects to life.

His documentary journey began with Greirson nominated A Space in Time (2021), a personal and intimate feature that shaped Anima’s ethos. Since then, he has directed, edited and produced a wide range of work including award-winning documentary Dwarf Story for ITV.

At its heart, Anima is about collaboration and craft, whether it is longform docs or short-form branded content, the aim is the same, building bold films with people who share a passion for stories that matter.
